SUMMARY
The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Senior Project Manager and Superintendent and ensuring that construction projects are completed according to schedule, at an above industry standard of quality, to the full satisfaction of the developer within budgetary guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Coordinates project start-up and mobilization.
Manages Subcontractors and suppliers as required regarding submittals.
Issues bid instructions to subcontractors.
Issues Project Subcontracts.
Subcontractor Buyout – issuance and scope of work/progress monitoring.
Prepares Request for Proposals, Change Order Requests and oversees Change Order Administration.
